We at the Montgomery Eye Center pride ourselves on the thoroughness of our eye exams. Your complete eye exam will, at the least, include a refraction (check for glasses), intraocular pressure check, and a dilated examination of the back of the eye. Many of these tests will be performed with the latest in computerized testing devices and/or with the finest in ophthalmic instruments. Rest assured, that if our highly trained physician and technical staff finds anything of concern, we have more diagnostic and treatment equipment than anyone in Collier County to further diagnose and treat your condition.
Please bring any current glasses or contact lenses and a list of the medications you are currently taking. When you are greeted at our front desk, you will be asked for your insurance card as well as other related information. After your examination, you may experience some blurriness of your vision and light sensitivity due to the dilating drops. This may be reduced by wearing sunglasses; if you do not have your own, we can supply you with a pair.
