| The Montgomery Eye Center Building is a 14,100 square foot facility specially
constructed for eye care and surgery. It contains a 3000 square foot ambulatory
surgical center, 17 exam rooms, a sophisticated diagnostic screening room, a
special room for minor surgery, and a full service optical shop. It is by far
the largest and most technically advanced eye care facility in Collier County.

Our specialty, outpatient eye surgery, is performed in our advanced, completely
equipped operating suites, which surpass all the stringent safety regulations
applicable to hospital operating rooms. However, unlike a hospital, our operating
suites are specially designed and equipped for eye surgery, utilizing some
of the finest ophthalmic instruments in the world.
Our safety record is exemplary, surpassing that of a typical hospital. Our
Ambulatory Surgical Center, which is certified by the Accreditation Association
for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc., consistently meets the high quality standards
which allow us to be state licensed and Medicare certified.
Even though our number one concern is your safety and good surgical results,
comfort and convenience is also important to us. You won't find uncomfortable
stretchers or awkward hospital gowns that open in the back. Our surgery patients
lounge comfortably in their street clothes on mobile recliners. And each of
our operating rooms has it's own picture window
and privacy garden to make your procedure as pleasant as possible.
Our refractive surgery center features the VISX Star IV excimer laser with
a Moria M2 microkeratome, representing what many consider the pinnacle of
technology in laser vision correction. Our center is specially built for
laser vision correction and uniquely, includes a viewing room next to the
surgery suite with floor to ceiling glass and a large flat panel monitor
which can be watched by family and friends.
