Hours and Scheduling
Our office is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Patients are seen by appointment and we do our best to remain on schedule. In rare cases, emergencies and delays may occur. If this is the case, our office would be happy to reschedule your appointment.
Your First Visit
Your first appointment will typically take about 90 minutes. During the exam, a technician will review your medical history, check your vision and eye pressure, and dilate your eyes. If a prescription for glasses is needed, a refraction will be performed to measure your refractive error. The doctor will examine the health of your eyes, review testing results, and inform you of your eye health and prescription. Eye dilation typically lasts 2-3 hours and may cause minor blurred vision and light sensitivity until it wears off. Sunglasses are recommended and are available to you once your appointment is complete.
Please bring your insurance cards, an ID card, and a list of the medications you take.
If you ever wear prescription glasses, be sure to bring them with you to your appointment.
If you wear contact lenses, please bring your contact lens box or information with you (brand, type, power).
To avoid spending extra time at your first appointment, please consider filling out forms in advance by printing them from this list. If forms are not filled out via our Web Registration or via the links below, it will need to be done when you arrive at the office.
